Dr. Courtney Davis grew up in West Virginia and became interested in dentistry after watching her father in his general dental practice. She solidified her decision to make dentistry her career while she was on a dental mission trip to Guatemala during college. Dr. Courtney completed her undergraduate and master’s degrees at West Virginia University and her dental training at West Virginia University School of Dentistry. After completing her dental training, she furthered her education by completing a General Practice Residency at West Virginia University/Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Courtney then completed her two-year pediatric training program at Geisinger Medical Center/Janet Weiss Children’s Hospital in Danville, Pennsylvania. During her residency Dr. Courtney worked closely with multiple pediatric specialists, pediatricians, emergency room physicians, and anesthesiologists while treating her patients. Dr. Courtney was part of the pediatric team that would take dental emergency calls throughout her two years at Geisinger Medical Center.
Dr. Courtney has memberships with the American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, South Carolina Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry and is currently board-eligible.
Dr. Courtney enjoys traveling and enjoying the outdoors. Dr. Courtney is looking forward to learning how to play tennis and golf in her free time.
